Book Sale 2022 Terms and Conditions

The Book Sale (the “Sale”) is held by Thomson Reuters New Zealand Limited NZBN 9429038782268 (“Thomson Reuters”) of Level 19, 2-6 Gilmer Terrace, Wellington, 6011. Thomson Reuters’ Terms of Trade and relevant addenda available to view at https://connect.aem.thomsonreuters.com/terms-and-conditions, together with the below terms govern your relationship with Thomson Reuters in relation to the Sale.

1. Sale Period, Eligibility and Validity

The Sale begins at 12:00am on 31 May 2022 and ends at 11:59pm on 1 July 2022, or while stocks last (the "Sale Period"). The Sale applies to orders placed by all New Zealand customers during the Sale Period. The Sale is not available in conjunction with any other discount or offer. The Sale is not available for resellers. All discounts are based on the recommended retail price applicable as at 31 May 2022.

2. Pricing

All prices are in New Zealand dollars and exclusive of GST. Prices are valid for sales in New Zealand only.

3. Books, eBooks and Book+eBook Bundles – Legal and International Titles

(i) Books
The list of titles included in the Sale can be found on the Sale website: https://www.thomsonreuters.co.nz/sale. Discounts of between 10% and 60% apply to the titles included in the Sale from 31 May 2022 to 1 July 2022. The discount will either be applied to your order automatically or require you enter a promo code that you receive in an email from Thomson Reuters during checkout. This offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer.

(ii) eBooks and eSubs
The price quoted for an eSub (an updating subscription eBook) is for a single annual subscription for one user and includes all updates issued during the year. Payment with your order is mandatory, and credit card is preferred. Cheque or bank deposit is accepted but please expect a delay in receiving the registration email.

You may not cancel the purchase of access to an eBook or eSub or return a print copy of a publication sold in conjunction with an eBook or eSub.

(iii) VIP (i.e. Thomson Reuters' Book Club Member) Offer
If you are already a Thomson Reuters Book Club member prior to the Sale Period or apply to become a Book Club member during the Sale Period you are eligible for the VIP offer. The VIP offer entitles the VIP to an additional 5% off the sale price for all Legal and International Books, eBooks, and Book+eBook bundles, excluding the Clearance collection. The maximum discount will be 30% per Book, eBook or Book+eBook bundle. The discount will be applied to the VIP's order upon the VIP entering a promo code at checkout. This promo code is contained in the VIP email the VIP receives upon signing up as a Book Club member. This offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer.
